Pierce Owens joined CB Richard Ellis Investment Properties in 2003. He is an investment specialist with experience in portfolio dispositions and self storage investment sales. Over the last three years, Pierce has gained specific expertise in converting vacant “big box” retail properties into self storage properties. Pierce’s strengths include understanding the capital markets, accessing private and institutional capital, as well as underwriting and developing marketing strategies. Other activities include contract negotiations, due diligence oversight and closing activities.
Prior to joining CBRE, Pierce worked for the Chief Risk Officer of El Paso Corporation on a broad range of financial risk management assignments. In addition, he served as an international financial analyst and energy trader at the company. Pierce received his MBA from Rice University in 1998 and has an undergraduate degree from Tulane University. Achievements
