John A. Holland is responsible for leadership of the South Texas/Louisiana trade area. His functional responsibilities include brokerage services, asset services, corporate services, construction/project management, capital markets and valuation services. His geographic responsibilities span from El Paso and the Texas/Mexico Borderzone through Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Louisiana.

Mr. Holland joined CBRE in early 2007 as a result of the company’s acquisition of Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Holland began his career with TCC as an office leasing agent in 1986. He was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and provided staff leadership for over 10 million square feet of office space in Dallas / Ft. Worth and he moved to Houston as Area Partner in 1993. He developed Trammell Crow Company’s Houston office business from start-up and he led a team responsible for development, property management, project leasing, tenant representation, and investment sales for institutional, private and corporate clients. In 2001, Mr. Holland was promoted Senior Managing Director, responsible for TCC’s Global Service business in South Texas, leading solutions for over 50 million square feet of commercial space. Today, CBRE is the industry leader in each market segment within Holland’s responsibility.

Prior to Trammell Crow Company, Mr. Holland was Senior Land Representative for Shell Oil Company working various roles in Shell Oil Company’s Western Exploration and Production unit.
