Gary Coker is the Managing Director of Asset Services for the Salt Lake City offices of CB Richard Ellis. In this role, Mr. Coker has oversight of a staff of 35 individuals who expertly manage a portfolio of commercial properties in excess of 8 million square feet. As Managing Director, Gary serves as the link between the property management team and CB Richard Ellis’s regional and corporate support. He is actively involved with each managed property to insure that the proper resources are applied in order to meet both the property owner’s and CB Richard Ellis’ high expectations with regard to asset value enhancement, property appearance, and tenant satisfaction. Professional Experience Gary began his real estate career over 15 years ago as a property and fund level accountant with Jones Lang LaSalle in their Chicago corporate offices. Shortly thereafter he transferred to Salt Lake City and moved directly into real estate management, managing a historic downtown Salt Lake City high-rise. Prior to being named as Managing Director, Gary most recently managed 1.4 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties for three separate clients in the Salt Lake Valley. In this role he was directly responsible for all day to day operations of each property, including staffing, service contracting, construction management, client reporting, budgeting and client relations.
