Office Description: CB Richard Ellis is the leading services provider in the Hampton Roads market, which includes the cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Williamsburg, Hampton and Newport News along with other surrounding cities and counties. The overall Hampton Roads market includes several hundred million square feet of office, industrial and retail product.
In 2008, the Hampton Roads offices completed 69 sales transactions totaling $613 million, and 373 leasing transactions encompassing 3.65 million square feet totaling $176.8 million. With 24 sales and leasing professionals in offices on both the Peninsula and Southside of Hampton Roads, CB Richard Ellis provides a full range of commercial real estate services to clients throughout the region.
Our Norfolk office, established in 1983, also serves as the regional headquarters for our Newport News, Richmond, and Charlottesville, Virginia and Raleigh and Greensboro, North Carolina operations. In 2008, the combined Mid-South offices (excluding Charlotte) completed 190 sales transactions totaling $987 million, and 1,194 leasing transactions encompassing 12.3 million square feet totaling $669.4 million. Our senior executive leadership, corporate accounting and financial controllers are based in the Norfolk office.
