David Gast is a Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis specializing in the leasing and sales of commercial property in Northern Virginia.  He has over sixteen years of experience providing transactional expertise and consulting services to both landlords and tenants.  Having closed over 525 transactions, Mr. Gast has a unique ability to structure creative deals to help further the interests of his clients.  Specific areas of expertise include those Northern Virginia submarkets outside the Capital Beltway; such as Tysons Corner, Merrifield, Reston, Herndon, Chantilly, and Eastern Loudoun County.  He joined CB Richard Ellis as a result of the July 2003 merger with Insignia/ESG. 

Prior to Insignia/ESG, Mr. Gast worked with Cambridge Property Group, LP, where he was responsible for the leasing of their Northern Virginia real estate portfolio.  Before his career in commercial real estate, he was licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and worked in the sale of institutional bonds to commercial banks.
