Matt O'Brien assisted Brett Hartzell in the disposition of the project, which Harsch purchased. As is the nature of the acquisition market, aggressive underwriting assumptions were put in place. In 2006, the project experienced over 70% "roll-over". Matt worked hard to educate the market on the opportunity at WestPark, and as a result, he leased seven different suites, and renewed one major tenant. The project began 2007 at 100% occupancy, at rates which exceded the underwriting assumptions. |

American Port Services Broker: Lane Bockman
American Port Services Lane represented American Port Services in three separate transactions totalling over 900,000 square feet of space. Looking for only 100,000 square feet, Puget Sound International ended up signing a lease with RREEF for 322,465 square feet in Auburn. In the meantime, APS entered into negotiations to lease a 358,673 square foot building in Sumner, while Lane had negotiated a land purchase of 30.4 acres in Sumner for them. Lane was a key player in advising on the site and selecting the contractor, architect, and civil engineer. A 150,000 square foot building, 100,000 square feet of cross-dock and 50,000 square feet of warehouse with approximately 24 acres of paved yard for trailer parking, was built on the site - on schedule and on budget. |
