Jim Lampman is an investment properties specialist with 19 years experience. Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis in 1988, he held various high level and ownership positions as a commercial banker in Colorado.  Jim has a B.S.B.A. in Marketing (1974) from the University of Denver. Specialties include HUD subsidized/low income house tax credit/Section 515 apartment properties, conventional multi-housing properties and senior housing communities on a nationwide basis. Jim founded the HUD Services Group and serves as its Nat’l Director for CB Richard Ellis, Inc.

Founded in 1995, the HUD/Affordable Housing Group works nation-wide with owners of affordable properties, HUD-insured and/or assisted properties currently receiving federal rent subsidies.  These subsidies are scheduled to expire and/or be significantly reduced.  Owners are eligible to prepay mortgages and/or sell properties.  Without specialized advice about the severe regulatory environment, owners are often unaware of strategies available to maximize property value.  The HUD/Affordable Housing Group provides that expertise, enabling owners to sell their properties at maximum value.  Real estate advisory services are also available to owners seeking to identify and evaluate alternate exit strategies; and navigate the complex world of HUD requirements. The Group works as a team, combining real estate, finance and federal regulatory expertise to provide unsurpassed service to clients.
