Brian leads the hotel valuation and consulting practice at CBRE Hotels. He brings 25 years of commercial real estate experience and has specialized in the valuation of hospitality assets for 20 years. Brian has completed assignments across Canada on a wide range of assets including major downtown hotels, resorts, conference centers and limited service properties.  He has acted for major Canadian and US lenders, private owners, publicly traded companies, institutions and government bodies. Valuations and studies have been prepared for financing, regulatory purposes, due diligence, realty tax appeals and arbitration.

Prior to joining CBRE Hotels, Brian was the Executive Managing Director of Colliers International Realty Advisors and managed the group through a major expansion. Brian began his career in Hospitality valuation and consulting with Laventhol & Horwath, a leading international hotel consulting group.

In addition to his hotel practice, Brian has also served with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in a number of capacities.  He recently chaired a committee which made recommendations leading to significant changes to the Institutes professional practice function. Brian was awarded a Presidential citation for his work in 2003.
