Carlton Geer was the initial member of the Global Gaming Group (GGG) in 2001. Under his leadership, the group has grown to eight members including three dedicated gaming analysts for the consulting/advisory practice and three advisors for gaming transactions. GGG is a dedicated business unit of CB Richard Ellis worldwide and has completed assignments in Singapore, the Philippines, Belize and St. Croix as well as maintaining a robust practice in the United States.
Mr. Geer and Mr. Knott, two of the three partners within GGG, received the Innovation Award for 2005 for their success in defining and developing the gaming market niche for the Company. Mr. Geer was recruited by CBRE for his gaming industry expertise and provides over 25 years of practical gaming industry experience encompassing all areas of operations within hotel casinos. He is intimately familiar with all aspects of the casino industry including operations, marketing, and administration. Mr. Geer’s executive talents and hotel and gaming management experience were a critical component in developing CBRE’s Global Gaming Group capabilities in both its consulting and M & A practices.
