Mr. Hinchman is the senior salesman in CB Richard Ellis' Kansas City office. He has been in the real estate brokerage and development business since 1976, affiliated with CB Richard Ellis since 1978. In the past five years he has been involved in exclusively representing developers, institutions, Fortune 500 companies and other users in real estate transactions in excess of $1 Billion.  David has provided industrial development consultation services for 10+ million square feet of speculative and build to suit projects.  In addition, David is a founding member of CB Richard Ellis' Special Properties Group (SPG) which oversees the acquisition and disposition needs of large industrial facilities in ex-urban areas.  His responisibilities for SPG cover Missouri and Kansas.

Mr. Hinchman has been an Active Member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the premier organization for office and industrial realtors within the United States, since 1984. He is also a member of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors Sixty-Six Million Dollar Club, and won the top industrial award in 2006.

Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Hinchman was involved for six years in the marketing and teaching of a self-improvement educational program, primarily to corporations headquartered or located in the Kansas City area.  Mr Hinchman is a trained wilderness guide for young men.  He voulnteers his time to lead men on rites-of-passage wilderness trips each year.
