Elizabeth Champagne, MAI is the SMD of the Northern California Region of CBRE. She has over 23 years of professional experience in the fee preparation and review of real estate appraisals, feasibility studies, rent analyses, highest and best use and market studies of commercial and residential properties throughout the United States. Ms. Champagne has over 13 years of appraisal management experience operating large and successful commercial appraisal companies. Ms. Champagne has a well-rounded real estate background, including serving as an Assessor for the City of Newton, MA, involved in syndicated acquisitions, and as a loan servicer/underwriter and appraiser for HUD, FmHA and Department of Interior USFWS.
Ms. Champagne has expertise in the appraisal of a diverse range of property types including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hotel, medical office, restaurant, parking garage, car wash, low-income housing, residential subdivision, master-planned business park, bank branch, special purpose, and single family plus congregate care, assisted living, residential care and skilled nursing facilities.
Elizabeth has successfully worked with some of our most prestigious clients including Bank of America, Fleet Bank, Artesia Mortgage Capital, GIC-Government of Singapore, TIAA-CREF, Mercantile Safe Deposit, Union Labor Life, GMAC and Prudential Mortgage Capital Corporation. She has appraised properties throughout the U.S. but her primary geographical experience is California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and many of the eastern seaboard and New England States including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine.
Prior to joining CBRE in 1997, Ms. Champagne was Senior Vice President of Property Sciences, a statewide residential and commercial appraisal company in Pleasant Hill, CA. In 1994, Ms. Champagne served as Director of Appraisal and Consulting of I.J. Barkan, based in Boston, MA.
