Joe Donato is an Executive Vice President in the Washington, DC office of CBRE Capital Markets, CB Richard Ellis’ investment banking subsidiary. In this capacity he is responsible for co-managing the debt and equity origination business in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Donato specializes in raising capital for institutions, real estate operating companies and private investors. He has extensive relationships with a diverse selection of capital sources, including life insurance companies, pension funds, investment banking institutions, real estate funds and domestic and off-shore commercial banking institutions.
Mr. Donato has been recognized as one of the top 10 producers for the company and is a member of the Colbert Coldwell Circle, which recognizes the top 3% of the company. Mr. Donato is a Councilman for the CBRE Finance Advisory Council and has over 15 years experience in commercial real estate finance, acquisition, disposition, valuation and analysis. During his career he has been involved in over $12 billion of financings.
