John Lenio is the Managing Director of CBRE’s Economic Incentives Practice. The Economic Incentives Practice specializes in identifying, negotiating, and securing economic and tax incentives for CBRE’s corporate clients in all 50 states and across all industries. John’s 15 years of experience spanning economic development, economic and real estate consulting, real estate development, and the call center industry give him a unique perspective to working successfully within cities, counties and states. Under John’s leadership, our Economic Incentives practice has negotiated over $213 million in incentives.

John is also the developer of a widely used and accepted economic and fiscal impact model. This model is commonly used by economists across the world to quantify the financial impact companies will have on a specific municipality or state in terms of job creation, payroll and tax revenue. The results of this type of sophisticated model help educate local and state government officials on the real impact a potential company would have on the community.
