Katherine Haug joined CB Richard Ellis in 1995, bringing 10 years experience working with local contractors and developers. She initially joined the company as part of its Telecommunications Group, providing site acquisition service for the build-out of PCS networks in three states. Upon successfully completing the assignment, Katherine joined the firm’s brokerage division, working with one of the Valley’s top industrial teams as a Marketing Specialist.
In her roll as a Marketing Specialist, Katherine created sales material and related communication to market more than 2.5 million square feet of flex, office-industrial properties throughout Metropolitan Phoenix. These items included advertisements, brochures, presentations, press releases, direct mail campaigns and signage, as well as web and electronic marketing material.
Katherine is now the Communications Manager and the senior marketing professional in one of the company’s top producing offices. As the Communications Manager, she remains focused on the strategic management of the company's perception in the marketplace. Her goal is to communicate a clear and consistent message through voice, imagery, personally, values and market knowledge. The tools Katherine uses to communicate this message include:
Media Relations:
- Interacts with the media almost daily, creating and transmitting press releases, pitches and bylined articles
- Achieves, on average, more than 75 media placements per month in local, regional and national print and online publications
Advertising:
- Produces an annual advertising budget and calendar for the local office
- Schedules placements, creates copy and develops advertisements for publication
Promotional Activities & Events:
- Coordinates and directs major office promotional events
- Promotes local office success through business and industry recognition
Her "can do" attitude is what makes Katherine an integral part of the Phoenix office. Her enthusiasm adds energy, while her vision brings new ideas and endless possibilities to every project she undertakes.
