For over 20 years Kathleen Giouroukos has been servicing the needs of shopping center landlords and developers in the leasing, management and marketing of their shopping centers both existing and ground-up developments.
Kathleen began her career more than 20 years ago, the first 16 years spent in Australia, her native country. In 2002 her family relocated to the US and she joined CBRE shortly thereafter.
Kathleen now leads the Corporate Partnership practice nationally within CBRE designed specifically to source alternative revenue streams on behalf of commercial real estate landlords. In this role, actively procuring corporate partnership contracts in the categories of media rights, ATM/Financial, common area vending and technology have proven to add substantial dollars to the bottom line for operating and development properties
Achievements
- Successfully procured various media contracts for national shopping center developers such as Turnberry & Associates and Forest City Enterprises exceeding their revenue expectations and creating another line of NOI not previously budgeted for
- Successfully executed the first office building ‘tall wall’ media contract in Los Angeles in 2007
- Founder & Director of “Retail Management and Leasing Solutions” with exclusive consulting contract to Knight Frank , Sydney, Australia
- Jones Lang Lasalle- National Employee Year Award- General and Leasing Manager , Parabanks Shopping Center, Adelaide, Australia
- Industry knowledge and aggressive re-merchandising of Parabanks shopping center led to a 30% re-tenanting mainly to national tenants with a resulting positive trend in traffic/retail sales for the first time in over 3 years
