Maury Zanoff has over 15 years of institutional real estate experience and is an Executive Vice President in the Washington, DC office of CBRE Capital Markets, CB Richard Ellis’ real estate investment banking subsidiary. His responsibilities include co-managing the Mid-Atlantic region, leading the Washington, DC based team of 6 professionals, and advising clients in the financing and capitalization for both debt and equity.
Previously, Mr. Zanoff served as Vice President at Clark Enterprises on the development staff in a capital markets advisory capacity. His role included structuring joint venture debt and equity for Clark’s development projects along with bond offerings for large public-private projects and military housing privatization. Prior to Clark, Mr. Zanoff served as an Associate for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments where he was responsible for the analysis in advising pension funds, non-profits, and local and national governments on the purchase, asset management, and disposition of real estate.
Mr. Zanoff began his career upon graduation from Georgetown University as an Analyst/Underwriter at CRIIMI MAE, Inc. where his team acquired interests in more than $2 billion in bonds that controlled over $33 billion in mortgages on 6,000 commercial properties. Mr. Zanoff also served as an Analyst and an Asset Manager with Goldman Sachs & Company’s Whitehall Funds with portfolio geographic responsibility from Richmond to New York City.
Mr. Zanoff has ranked as one of top 10 finance producers nationally. He is a member of the CBRE Institutional Group, CBRE Multifamily Major Account Group, CBRE Equity Advisory Group, as well as a Councilman for the CBRE Global Property Advisors Council.
