Nick Axford is head of CB Richard Ellis Research & Consulting Department.  His role is to co-ordinate research activities across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA Region) to ensure that a full and innovative range of research, analysis and consultancy services is provided for clients of the Company.  Over the last twelve years in private practice, he has been involved in the planning, establishment and management of research projects relating to many different aspects of the property market, having particular experience in monitoring and analysis of the office and industrial sectors.

Since joining CB Hillier Parker in 1994, Nick has concentrated on developing ways of analysing current and future trends in local office markets, with particular emphasis on occupier demand and the Central London market.  He has carried out consultancy studies on various aspects of the market for major landlords, developers, occupiers and investors.  He has developed considerable experience in advising occupiers and investors on current and future trends in Europe, with particular emphasis on the development of corporate and real estate investment strategy.  He is also involved in driving forward research into how changing technology and working practices will affect the nature and location of the workplaces of the future.  Nick is a Board Director and immediate past Chairman of EGPropertyLink, the UK's leading internet listings service for commercial property.
