Nuevo Leon is located in northeastern Mexico, bordering to the north with
the United States and linking both countries through the recently opened
International Bridge of Colombia.
Monterrey, which is the capital city of the state of Nuevo Leon, is a city
with a population of approximately 2.8 million people. With 4% of Mexico's total
population, Monterrey generates 8.1% of the country's GNP and 9.4% of Mexico's

Monterrey's weather is pleasant during late fall and winter, and hot and
humid during late spring and summer.
