The Asia Pacific Consumer Survey is CBRE’s most ambitious to date, covering 11 countries across Asia Pacific and a total of 11,000 consumers. The key findings from the survey are presented in the following report in order to provide a useful guide for shopping centre landlords to devise and implement operational strategies for properties in their portfolio. Topics covered include:

  1. How to attract shoppers;
  2. How to make a shopping centre more appealing;
  3. How to adapt current strategies to changing consumer behaviour.

This report is the first in a series focusing on consumer research. The next report will examine how to reach bricks and mortar consumers through Online to Offline (O2O) strategies.
