Scott Miller is a recognized leader in the real estate industry, with a strong background in project development management and investor advisory services, joined CB Richard Ellis in February, 2007. Mr. Miller will join other professionals in overseeing the firm’s private client group initiative on Long Island. Mr. Miller will focus on servicing the highly specialized sales and investment activity requirements of investors within the private client arena. Servicing office, retail, industrial, and multi-family opportunities, the initiative will represent customers in marketing and trading assets for non-institutional investors.
Prior to joining CBRE’s Long Island office, Mr. Miller was president of JSN Development, Inc., a firm he founded to tackle challenging development projects on his own behalf, as well as offering development advisory services to investors. In that capacity, he oversaw a number of high-profile projects including a mixed-use development in South Beach, FL; a New York City apartment redevelopment and penthouse addition; and several high-end single family residential projects. Additionally, he oversaw the project assessment group for a privately held real estate group with assets exceeding $250 million.
Before founding JSN, Mr. Miller served as Director of Finance and Administration for Quartararo & Associates, Inc. (Q&A). In this capacity he was responsible for all business functions of the firm. Combining strong leadership with disciplined management he led Q&A through four years of double digit growth.
