Barbara Emmons has been with CBRE for 22 years and is a leading investment broker specializing in industrial, office and land sales. Barbara has been among the firm’s Colbert Coldwell Circle, an elite group that is comprised of the top 3% of producers in the entire company and was appointed Executive Vice President, a title shared by only 50 of the 3,000 professionals at CBRE across the globe. In 2004, Ms. Emmons was the winner of the company’s Endurance of Spirit Award, given to a top professional that focuses on mentoring, philanthropy, professional development and personal enrichment. Barbara was recently invited to be on the Americas Advisory Board for CBRE.
Barbara and her partner Darla had a 2010 total transaction value in excess of $2.3 billion. Ms. Emmons is one of the leading investment professionals in the region, and has ranked in the impressive top ten in Real Estate Southern California’s 9th Annual Broker Hot List and Los Angeles Business Journal’s feature of LA’s Best Brokers Specializing in Capital Markets.
A key player within CBRE's 40-person Institutional Group (IG), she has facilitated many complex, multi-market dispositions including over 10,000 acres of land sales and major sales such as the sale of the 1.2 million square foot Panattoni Portfolio in the Inland Empire. Barbara is also very active in CBRE’s Restructuring Services Group working with banks and institutions on REO and note sales and CBRE’s Land Services Group.
