Rachel Burris is a member of the Los Angeles Retail Private Client Group Team of CB Richard Ellis, serving as a retail investment advisor. The Los Angeles Retail Private Client Group assists private investors in both the acquisition and disposition of retail investment properties, focusing on single-tenant, strip, community and grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout California.
Rachel serves an integral member of the team, providing the initial valuation of a property, reading and abstracting leases and preparing a 10-year ARGUS cash flow analysis with the assistance of the CBRE Financial Consulting Group. In addition, Rachel provides market research such as demographic surveys, market comparables, local market trends, and consulting with the CBRE Debt & Equity Finance for the latest insights into the capital markets such as financing assumptions.
Rachel strives to always anticipate and exceed her client’s expectations during every stage of the transaction process, from the initial valuation through closing, with her hands–on approach to brokerage and her ability to achieve quick results. Since joining the team in January 2007, Rachel has participated in 12 retail transactions, including 9 dispositions and 3 acquisitions, totaling 782,922 square feet and $330,450,000 in consideration.
Prior to working at CBRE, Rachel worked as an associate for a law firm in San Diego.
