Whitney Peyton is Senior Managing Director at CB Richard Ellis. He is responsible for managing the company's Minnesota operations, which are staffed by over 580 real estate professionals. He coordinates all the activities for two primary offices; Bloomington and Downtown Minneapolis, including overseeing new business development, client relations, and related services. He has 33 years of real estate experience with CB Richard Ellis, 18 have been in management.
For the previous 15 years, Mr. Peyton was responsible for office and retail leasing and sales in and around the Twin Cities metropolitan area. This included an excess of 5 million square feet of space leased or sold.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Peyton was employed by the First Bank of Minneapolis. Duties and responsibilities included repossessing cars and collection of loans. He finished his career at the bank writing residential real estate loans. Achievements Mr. Peyton was the recipient of the NAIOP 2005 President's Award, and the 2006 outstanding services awards for serving as the NAIOP Communications Committee Co-Chair and Secretary. These awards reflect Mr. Peyton's ongoing commitment and dedication to Minnesota's commercial real estate industry and community.
Mr. Peyton is also the recipient of Realcomm's 2005 and 2007 "Digie Award" ("Digital" Impact Award).
Mr. Peyton is a frequent speaker on matters relating to the real estate market both nationally and internationally, through his affiliations with the Minnesota Shopping Center Association, NAIOP, Minnesota / South Dakota CCIM Chapter, Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), Realcomm, and RCA. He has headed the MNCAR Task Force and built the Minnesota Commercial Property Exchange and led the industry in moving its commercial exchange to the WEB.
