Steve Shields joined CB Richard Ellis in 2004 as a Financial Analyst and has been recently promoted to Retail Investment Senior Associate. In this position Steve will focus his attention exclusively on the sale of shopping center investments in the southeast. Prior to this promotion Steve worked as a Financial Analyst supporting the regional investment sales brokers for office, multi-family, industrial and retail product types. In this role, Steve was responsible for the coordination of the financial and underwriting processes. During this period he developed substantial expertise in lease and operating expense analysis and advanced financial modeling with Argus and Microsoft Excel. Steve has underwritten and assisted in the disposition of over $750 million of investment properties throughout North and South Carolina.
Prior to his employment with CB Richard Ellis, Steve had a variety of operational and financial roles in Denver, Colorado and Charlotte, North Carolina. Achievements
