Jim Morris is a Senior Vice President based in the Nashville office of CBRE. He is a member of the company's Investment Properties Group and focuses on the disposition of shopping centers and related retail properties throughout the southeast. Jim has been involved in the sale of virtually all types of retail assets, including grocery anchored centers, power centers, regional malls, and single tenant retail. In addition, he has experience selling distressed retail assets, redevelopment projects, and regional development tracts.
Jim joined CBRE in 2002 after spending several years in a similar position with the Trammell Crow Company. His clients are a mixture of both private and institutional investors and developers, as well as national retailers. Jim has a deep understanding of southeastern retail markets and uses this information to help best position clients' assets for the marketplace. He spends considerable time tracking retailer credit, financing requirements, and sales comparables so that his clients can have thorough insight to realistic market values.
