Having joined the firm in 1999 prior to CB Richard Ellis's merger with Insignia/ESG/ Hotel Partners, Bidjaan Kassam has worked himself through the corporate ladder to his current position as Vice President. He has nine years of experience in the hotel industry working in both acquisition and real estate investment sales. With CB Richard Ellis Hotels, Kassam has specialized in single asset and large portfolio transactions throughout the Southeast United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Since 1999, he has actively participated in the disposition of over 130 hotels nationally, valued in excess of $700 million with such clients as Lodgian, Noble Investments, AEW Capital, First Winthrop and Ashford.

Prior to CB Richard Ellis Hotels, Kassam was an Acquisitions & Development Analyst for Remington Hotel Corporation in Dallas, Texas. Kassam also helped Express Posadas du Canada, Inc. to acquire and renovate numerous properties throughout Canada and the Southeast United States.

Kassam graduated with honors from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration with a degree in hospitality real estate finance and corporate finance.
