As Director of Property Marketing for the Americas, Danny Barrett manages the development of property marketing strategies, the integrity of corporate branding practices, and the creation of high-end creative projects that deliver the CBRE message to external and internal clients. As an integral part of the CBRE marketing team, Mr. Barrett, consults with business line leaders, clients and broker teams to develop initiatives that are tailored to their needs. The results are compelling cost effective marketing campaigns spread across the enterprise with high success rates and strong corporate branding.

In the spring of 2001, Mr. Barrett joined CB Richard Ellis to establish the CBRE Houston Marketing Center. With over 36 years of experience in worldwide strategic marketing and advertising, domestic and international trade shows, web development, corporate branding, and creative problem solving, the Houston Marketing Center rapidly became known for its innovative style, creative solutions and technological expertise. As well as Mr. Barrett’s enterprise involvement, he directly manages the Houston Marketing Center, Capital Markets Property Marketing Center, CBRE Global Investors Marketing Center, and the National Property Marketing Center.

Achievements

• In 2011, Mr. Barrett received the CBRE High Impact MORE Award. The High Impact Award recognizes regional or corporate professionals whose talents and efforts create significant positive benefits for local offices, business lines and the company.
• Recipient of the CB Richard Ellis Communications and Marketing Mentor Award. Mr. Barrett was awarded this honor at the 2007 CBRE MORE Conference in Denver, Colorado. This award is given to the professional who has made major contributions of their time and effort to help teach and mentor others. This person values and embodies the teaching culture found at CB Richard Ellis.
• In 2004, Mr. Barrett was the recipient of CB Richard Ellis' Ambassador Award, which "recognizes individuals who, by their own initiative and motivation, take it upon themselves to go above and beyond client expectations to provide superior service and contribute to the overall success of the firm."
