CBRE Appoints Liz Atlee as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer

CBRE Group, Inc. announced that Elizabeth Atlee has been promoted to Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Ms. Atlee was previously Deputy General Counsel for Global Litigation, which included legal matters of employment, intellectual property protection and data governance for CBRE.
Ms. Atlee, who is based in Los Angeles, will oversee CBRE’s robust global ethics and compliance program that includes internal audit, policies, training, investigations, communications and monitoring. As part of this role, Ms. Atlee will retain oversight of CBRE’s Global Data Protection and Privacy Program, which ensures compliance with domestic and international privacy regulations.

Ms. Atlee was recently recognized as one of the 50 Most Powerful Latinas in Corporate America, according to the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) in collaboration with Fortune magazine. She is the executive sponsor of Hispanics Organized to Leverage our Advantage (HOLA), CBRE’s Latino employee network, serves on the company’s Executive Inclusion Committee and the Women’s Network. Ms. Atlee is also a member of CBRE’s Executive Risk Committee and Cyber Security Response Unit.
Before joining CBRE in 2011, Ms. Atlee was a senior attorney at BP, an international energy company, where she managed litigation as well as state and federal investigations and transacted franchise-related retail agreements.
Ms. Atlee is a graduate of Yale College and the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
