Shaun Moothart Promoted to Senior Vice President at CBRE in Newport Beach

Newport, Calif. – Shaun Moothart has been promoted to senior vice president with CBRE’s Capital Markets’ Debt and Structure Finance team in Newport Beach.

With broad expertise across various capital sources, Mr. Moothart regularly collaborates with major real estate funds, including life insurance companies, pension funds, commercial and investment banks, credit companies, foreign capital and private equity investors, among others. He has extensive experience in securing and structuring debt and equity financing for institutional clients across all commercial property types such as office, industrial, retail and multifamily.

In his more than 15 years in commercial real estate, including his seven years with CBRE, Moothart has played a key role in the origination, underwriting and closing of debt and equity transactions valued in excess of $3 billion. In 2019 alone, his team closed 71 debt and equity transactions for institutional and family office investors.

Moothart holds a degree in business, real estate and finance from the University of San Diego.
