Global Occupancy Insights 2021-2022
3 Minute Read
Using occupancy management to optimize portfolios
Occupancy management provides data, programs and processes to create strategies to best meet the enterprise goals and workplace and space needs for organizations.
Historically, this has balanced developing a workplace solution that aligns to the culture and business demands of an organization, managing ongoing space demand and facility costs, and supporting long-range portfolio planning.
The pandemic has put a significant focus on cost management, with 88% of respondents stating that the primary goal of their corporate real estate team is to support portfolio optimization efforts (Figure 44).
