Alex Holt is currently a Senior Director within the Management Consulting practice of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions organization. He focuses on leading strategic initiatives which improve the performance and efficiency of CRE organizations, including process improvement and organizational design. Alex also drives targeted CBRE Institute programs with a focus on industry and strategic thought leadership initiatives. Previously at CBRE, he led Client Strategy and Consulting on the Regions Bank account and provided guidance in the areas of Strategic Portfolio Planning & Optimization, Business Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, and Corporate Real Estate Finance.
Prior to joining CBRE, Alex was with Medical Properties Trust, a healthcare REIT and one of the nation’s leading providers of capital financing to hospitals across the US. As a member of their Asset Management and Underwriting group, he was integrally involved in the closing of over $570 million of sale-leaseback, debt, lease, construction, and sale agreements.
Licensed as a CPA, Alex began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving clients in the Healthcare, Construction, and Financial Services industries.
Alex received a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree and a B.S.B.A. in Accountancy, both from Auburn University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Alex holds an Alabama Real Estate Salesperson’s license and is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
