Professional Experience
Andre recently joined the Global High Technology Company account as an Operating Engineer, and he is responsible for five Client server farms and several smaller sites located throughout the South Eastern US area encompassing over 5,000 sq/ft of office space, 10,000 sq/ft of Data Center and several large warehouses.
As an operating engineer, Andre develops and executes planned maintenance schedules for critical facilities equipment such as uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems, emergency generators, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, fire protection, and general building maintenance to ensure that all Client facilities are operating at peak performance.
Although a new hire, Andre has already established himself as a very important asset to the account team. He has quickly familiarized himself with all CBRE policies and has taken ownership of all of his sites of responsibility. He has overseen major upgrades to his site’s programmable logic controls, supported several extended utility power outages to support the Client’s utility upgrades, and quickly established himself as a top performer. Andre covers a large territory with one of the higher workloads on the account team. In fact, his position actually covers a territory that was previously handled by two full time employees.
Prior to joining CBRE, Andre served his country as Machinist Mate in the US Navy. Matt worked on outboard motors, main propulsion diesel engines, boilers, air compressors, pumps, evaporators, and more.
In his spare time, Andre enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing cards with friends, and is a big Chicago Bears fan.
