Andrea Smith is a Senior Project Manager with CBRE Project Management in Denver, Colorado. A skilled performer with more than 25 years of experience, she has in-depth knowledge of the corporate services/purchasing process. She is experienced with working with all levels of management within a corporate structure as well as outside vendors and contract staff.
In her current role, Andrea manages corporate, tenant rep, landlord rep, industrial and retail projects, with responsibilities including construction management, user programming, tenant FF&E, move management, consolidation and decommission services. Her duties include coordinating corporate representatives, architects and consultants to establish project requirements and specifications; developing project guidelines in addition to following pre-defined standards, budgets, meeting minutes and project schedules; preparation of project documentation and direction of project meetings; and supervision of customer relocation and enforcement of contractual requirements. Additional duties include soliciting, preparation and review of bid documents and contract negotiation.
Andrea joined CBRE following its acquisition of Trammell Crow Company, where she worked from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Andrea was a coordinator of Interior Projects, Property Manager and Supervisor of Employee Services for Texaco Inc. (now Chevron Corporation), encompassing 750,000 square feet of tenant space at their corporate headquarters, and numerous subsidiary properties. In this role Andrea focused on managing vendors and contractors in order to meet Texaco standards. She began her career with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in New York City, where she worked on corporate accounts as a Senior Designer in their Interior Design Department for Material Specifications.
Andrea is the recipient of several awards and commendations, including the CBRE Client Satisfaction Award 2008, CBRE Mission Impossible Award 2011, CBRE Team Player Award 2013, and CBRE Project Manager of the Year 2014.
