As Senior Engineering Operations Manager for CBRE Technical Services, Andy Pribyl oversees the project management for capital projects for the State of Florida. Under the direction of David Day, Andy provides project oversight and technical management on major capital projects for CBRE’s clients for office, retail and industrial buildings in the State of Florida.
Andy has been involved in the construction and development of commercial real estate properties since 1995. Prior to joining CBRE, he worked with companies such as America’s Capital Partners and Premier Commercial Realty. As the Director of Development for Premier, he developed approximately five MSF of new Class A Industrial property throughout the state of Florida, of which CBRE was solely responsible for the property management. When Premier decided to sell their extensive portfolio in 2010, Andy was invited to join the CBRE Technical Services Team.
Andy has a strong background in property and facilities management. His knowledge of ground-up construction and project development provide him with the experience to assist the Asset Services team with construction management, including project design management, budgeting/cost management, and property inspections/assessments. His technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems provides an in-depth understanding of construction methods and practices. He is adept in contractor coordination, contract negotiations and has extensive supervisory experience. All of this, along with his knowledge of data management tools, helps to optimize capital project budgeting and project scheduling all to the benefit of the client.
