Bernadette Chriss is Senior Vice President and Transition Leader on CBRE’s Transformation Solutions Team. Prior to this role, she managed the Portfolio and Lease Services activities for the Central, West and Canadian Regions of the U.S currently servicing approximately 20,000 occupancy documents for over 30 clients. This account management responsibility includes new business development, transition management, cost analysis, Operational Excellence Reviews, client relationships, contract compliance, budgeting, performance management and analysis, and personnel selection and development. She is involved in the review of CB Richard Ellis services and resources at the practice and client levels to develop innovations on delivering value added approaches to real estate management based on the collection, administration and management of occupancy information. Her work has crossed all industries including financial, healthcare, technology, retail, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, educational and automotive.
Bernadette has worked at CBRE over 9 years as part of both the corporate and account functions. CBRE positions have included:
- Regional Alliance Director – 2 years on site with the client managing integrated operations for a staff of 13 across 17 states for over 38 locations including 3 multi building corporate campuses
- Portfolio and Lease Services – 5 years total in two increments that included property accounting, lease audits and portfolio management at client and corporate levels
- Facility Management – 2 years managing a staff of 12 covering 360 locations
Before joining Trammell Crow Company, Bernadette spent 4 years on the owner side of the business at Mutual of New York (MONY) Real Estate as asset manager, financial analysts and regional manager. Earlier at ARCO Oil and Gas Company (ARCO) she worked in Joint Venture Audit, Policy Development, Lease Analysis, Regulatory Compliance, Internal Control and Recruiting
