Blake is an Associate in the CBRE Wheel Program—a 14-month rotational platform designed to give selected young professionals a well-rounded foundation in commercial real estate.
Prior to joining CBRE, Blake spent a summer as an intern for Irvine Company, working as a rotational summer associate based primarily in the Portfolio Management division. During his time with Irvine Company, Blake worked directly with operations teams to solve client issues as well as overseeing the management and opening of One La Jolla Center, a brand-new 15-story office high rise in the business district of La Jolla, CA. In addition, Blake rotated through leasing, marketing, construction and operations departments at Irvine, working at properties throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, giving him a broad perspective of the Southern California commercial real estate market.
Blake attended Harvard University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, minor in Global Health and Health Policy and a language fluency citation in Spanish. Blake was a four-year starter as a member of the nationally ranked, Division 1 men’s varsity water polo team. When Blake graduated in 2016, he was Harvard’s all-time leading point scorer (415 points), was named to four consecutive NCAA All-Academic teams, and selected to two all-conference teams.
While an undergraduate, Blake was member of the Harvard College Law Society and Harvard Men Against Rape—a group of men dedicated to ending violence against women on Harvard’s campus. He was also involved with the Harvard College Special Olympic Football Program and worked part-time at the Loeb Graduate School of Design.
