Bruce C. Dunzweiler, MAI, SRA is a Director with over 35 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Mr. Dunzweiler’s primary geographical location is the Toledo MSA/northwest Ohio and border counties in southeast Michigan.
Mr. Dunzweiler’s experience covers a wide variety of existing and proposed commercial properties including shopping centers, industrial, office, single tenant net leased properties, vacant land, subdivisions, and marinas. His litigation support includes tax appeals, eminent domain, and forensic appraisals. His special use appraisals include conservation easements, park assemblage, railroad corridors, wetlands, Lake Erie waterfront and island properties.
Mr. Dunzweiler is a member of the Appraisal Institute and is Past President of the Toledo and Buckeye Chapters. He has also served as chapter Experience Chair, National Experience Review, and Regional Representative.
Mr. Dunzweiler has been an active commercial appraiser since 1976 where he started his career as a loan officer/appraiser at First Federal Savings and Loan, Defiance, Ohio. He later moved to Home Savings and Loan as Chief Appraiser. He owned a fee business till 1987 and moved to Toledo as President of Webstrand Appraisal Co. Webstrand Corporation dissolved and he became co-owner of Erie Coast Appraisal Group, eventually holding total ownership till 2014. Erie Coast Appraisal Group served a similar footprint as CBRE’s newest office serving Toledo/northwest Ohio and parts of lower southeast Michigan.
