Professional Experience


Chris Port is an Executive Vice President in the Asset Services division of CBRE. He and his partners are currently responsible for the marketing and leasing of a number of office buildings and business parks, including The Towers at Wildwood Plaza, One Buckhead Plaza, Three Ravinia, Pershing Point Plaza and Atlanta Plaza. During the course of his 16-year career as a leasing agent in Atlanta, Mr. Port has represented a number of the city’s top business addresses.

During his career, Mr. Port has listed more than 17 million square feet of commercial property. He has also completed transactions in excess of 6 million square feet. In 2005, Mr. Port was the #1 Top Producer in the office category for the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors with more than $79 million in leasing volume and is consistently in the top 10 annually. In 2009, Mr. Port and his partners completed more than 1 million square feet in leasing transactions including three of the largest office deals of the year and again was awarded the #1 Top Producer in the office category for the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and NAIOP with more than $67 million in leasing volume. Lastly, Mr. Port earned national recognition as a member of the Coldwell Colbert Circle which is awarded to the Top 100 producers within CBRE.

Before joining CBRE, Mr. Port played professional football for the New Orleans Saints from 1990-1995. During his NFL career, he worked in the off-season for Peter Mayer Advertising, Inc. in the firm’s Marketing/Public Relations Division. Mr. Port also acted as the spokesman for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Orleans.
