Daniel Taylor is Managing Director – Retail of the Texas and Oklahoma Division for CBRE, Inc., the leading provider of commercial real estate services globally.
In his role, Daniel is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the firm's retail business across eight regional offices throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. He oversees more than 100 brokerage professionals who provide solutions and create value for clients with local, national and global requirements.
Daniel's focus is supporting the growth of CBRE's retail business lines throughout the region and championing the delivery of best-in-class service for its clients. In 2015, CBRE purchased United Commercial Realty (UCR), a 27 year-old firm with substantial operations in North Texas and Austin. Since assuming his role in 2016, Daniel has led the successful integration of UCR's brokerage team with CBRE's existing businesses across the region. Under his leadership, the combined groups now represent approximately 700 retailers and lease over 20 million square feet on behalf of investor clients throughout the Texas and Oklahoma region where CBRE is recognized as the dominant market leader for retail brokerage services.
With almost 18 years of industry experience, Daniel's background includes all facets of transaction services. Prior to assuming his regional role, Daniel was a Senior Vice President in CBRE's Dallas office focusing on multi-market retailer representation and roll-out assignments across the U.S. Before that, he served as a Senior Vice President with Staubach Retail Services where he was a top producer. With a dedication for collaboration and service delivery, his transactional experience represents over 700 projects including two million square feet of big box leases on behalf of his clients throughout the United States. The Dallas Business Journal has consistently recognized him as a DFW Retail Heavy Hitter and included him in their Top 40 Under 40 list in 2016.
Giving time and energy to the Dallas community is a major focus for Daniel and his family. He currently serves on the board of Camp John Marc as well as Children's Cancer Fund. Daniel is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves on the Texas government relations committee.
