A registered architect with 30 years of experience, David has a passion for strategic leadership for the design and construction of Life Science, Technology, Workplace, and Education environments.  He has led teams through the visioning, planning, design, and delivery on many large, complex, and sustainable projects.  David drives innovative solutions through a deep understanding of client stakeholder expectations, alignment of design with project goals, in a team-based environment.

David’s broad experience as client, architect, and builder provides a unique balance of experience which has allowed him to bridge the skills of the project team with the goals and vision of the client, lead effective procurement processes, and promote an environment of collaboration to deliver highest value success on projects. Since 1998 David has taught architecture at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, has served on numerous Boards, and is recognized for thought leadership regionally and nationally.
