Professional Experience
Dick Almy is a Vice President of CBRE Capital Markets, working as part of a loan production team with Mark Capeloto. Dick’s responsibilities include analyzing and underwriting potential deals, assisting in the issuance and execution of loan applications and commitments as well as managing the processing and closing of loans. The team was involved in over 120 transactions or consulting assignments on property valued at nearly $2.4 billion in the period from 2005 to early 2015. Included in this total are 33 apartment financings covering more than 6,000 units. In recent years, Dick has also assisted Jack Standeford on a number of transactions.
Dick has been in the real estate and financial markets community for more than 34 years. He started his finance career as a Fed Funds trader immediately after completing his MBA in 1981. Since then he has managed a secondary markets group for a residential mortgage banker, worked for six years as a fee appraiser valuing commercial real estate and managed a portfolio of equity real estate for a regional pension fund before joining CBRE in 2003.
