Doug brings more than 35 years of facility management experience in areas of engineering, energy, environmental, PJM and capital development with strengths in service delivery efficiencies.
He began his career with Humber College transitioning through a number of positions over 18 years from Technologist to the Superintendent of Plant Services providing leadership and oversight on operations and capital development.
In 1999, Doug joined Kessinger Hunter Management as Director of Operations overseeing their Canadian operations with Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he was responsible for the day to day operations and maintenance of a large Weston brand convention hotel (1,000 rooms) and its multi-year capital plans while also leading Starwood’s Canadian energy procurement for their branded eastern properties.
In early 2011, Doug joined CBRE Limited as Director of Mobile Engineering on the RBC Canada Account (15 million sq.ft.) responsible for enhancing the operator/handyman productivity and engineering processes at client branches and major properties while building business controls and standards of procedures with emphasis on implementing programs to improve service delivery efficiencies.
January 2015, Doug joined the IBM Canada Account as Director of Operations overseeing the CMMS system with emphasis on standardization, business controls and implementing programs to improve service delivery efficiencies to IBM.
Doug also assists other CBRE Canadian accounts on mobile engineering services.
