Experience

E.A. Kratzman is a Managing Director for the Advisory & Transaction Services Group in the Midtown Manhattan office. With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, Mr. Kratzman has an extensive achievement record as a senior credit and global restructuring banker, with specific in-depth experience in retail, energy and industrial real estate among other industries, providing fundamental bottom-up credit analysis and corporate finance skills, combined with top-down knowledge of markets, operations and market technicals. His expertise ranges from skillfully operating in global markets, to collaborating and building strong teams, to establishing portfolios and managing and developing investment and operational processes aligned with investors’ objectives.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Kratzman held leadership roles in private equity, credit restructuring and portfolio management for several prominent financial services firms. Most recently, he was with Starwood Credit Advisors where he collaborated in providing detailed corporate finance, restructuring and credit analysis services to multiple divisions of the firm. While with Starwood, Mr. Kratzman spearheaded a de novo corporate debt asset management platform with more than $250M AUM in internal and separately managed accounts. Before joining Starwood, Mr. Kratzman was with Katonah Debt Advisors, Rabobank International and First Union Corporation where he developed portfolio strategies and was responsible for the management of a collateralized loan obligation funds in collectively in excess of $6B of AUM.
