Ed Glackin is a member of the Advisory & Transaction Services team at CBRE. Based in Manhattan, Ed is a retail specialist focused on serving both landlord and tenant clientele. With a degree in economics and a background in corporate communications, Ed is able to pair the global resources of CBRE with extensive local market knowledge and effectively work with his clients to create and implement tailored real estate solutions to meet their unique real estate needs and advance their business objectives.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ed served as a Valuation Trainee in the Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services’ Boston office, where he assisted in the valuation of properties of all types and varying levels of complexity, including retail centers, office buildings, industrial buildings, self-storage facilities, multifamily apartments, condominiums, and land.
Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Ed worked for the Brunswick Group, a leading international corporate communications consultancy, where he worked as a member of numerous client-facing teams and projects, including Walgreens’ $6.7 billion acquisition of a 45% stake in Alliance Boots, the $10 billion merger of semiconductor companies Applied Materials and Tokyo Electron, the spinoff of Kraft Foods, Inc. into two independent, publicly-traded companies, and numerous other high-profile corporate transactions.
