Jacqueline Compton brings more than 25 years of real estate management experience to her role as General Manager of a four-building, 785,500 square foot portfolio that includes Union Tower, a 330,000 square foot office building in the West Loop; two retail centers, Old Town Square and Stony Island Plaza; and 939 North Avenue Collection, a mixed-use office, retail and parking development in Chicago's Lincoln Park.
Jacqueline is the liaison between ownership, management and leasing teams at the four properties. Her managerial roles include communicating with building ownership, overseeing the development of the annual budget plan and monthly financial reports, calculating and reconciling rent escalations, managing accounts payable and receivables, supervising building staff, overseeing maintenance programs and service contracts as well as implementing tenant retention programs and events.
She joined CBRE through the acquisition of U.S. Equities Realty in 2014. Jacqueline joined U.S. Equities Realty in 2000 as the Assistant Property Manager for 55 West Monroe, a Class A, 40-story, 750,000 square foot office tower located in Chicago’s central business district.
Previous real estate experience includes Heitman Properties and 55 West Monroe, where she began her career in 1989. She received her Master of Business Administration from St. Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois and Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin.
