Jason Gorman is an Executive Vice President of CBRE’s Consulting Group. Jason has been involved in the negotiation and structuring of complex lease, acquisition and sales transactions for a wide range of tenants. With a strong consulting background and an in-depth understanding of the economic and financial statement implications of various complex real estate transactions, Jason has played an integral role in the strategic planning and implementation phases of numerous tenant representation assignments. In addition, Jason brings a wealth of market knowledge and experience to the development of creative and unique occupancy scenarios and the pursuit of various real estate occupancy strategies.
Jason has considerable experience completing a variety of real estate transactions, including headquarters transactions (both existing product and new construction), dispositions, and sale-leaseback transactions. In addition, Jason has considerable multi-market transaction experience, having completed transactions in Atlanta, Boston, Calgary, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, Panama, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Toronto.
Jason has also been part of two award winning teams. In 2006, Jason was awarded “Deal of the Year” by the San Francisco Business Times for representing Barclays Global Investors in their 320,000 sf build-to-suit US headquarters at 400 Howard Street in San Francisco and in 2000, Jason was recognized by the Real Estate Board of New York with the Robert T. Lawrence award for “Ingenious Brokerage Deal of the Year” for representing Arthur Andersen in their 650,000 SF new development headquarters lease at Times Square Tower in New York.
