Mr. McDonald is the Alliance Director/Facilities Director for the State Of Ohio Computer Center. With over 25 years of experience in both facilities and property management, Jeff joined CBRE in 2005 as a Senior Real Estate Manager specializing in office and industrial properties. Mr. McDonald’s areas of experience include budgets, tenant relations, public relations, collections, purchasing, marketing, leasing, employee supervision and construction management.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. McDonald was a senior property manager with Duke Realty Corporation where he was responsible for a portfolio of over 8 million square feet of combined office and industrial properties. Jeff’s role included the oversight of a large property management team.
Before working with Duke, Jeff was a general manager with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). At JLL, Jeff worked on investment assets as well as facility management accounts ranging in size from 50,000 SF to 10,000,000 SF. Jeff’s duties included management of Ameritech’s property services for their 10 million square foot portfolio of “Central Offices” encompassing the State of Ohio. He consistently achieved and exceeded the client’s key performance indicators in the areas of finance, operations and customer services – and was awarded Facilities Services Excellence Awards in 1998 and 1999. In total, while with JLL, Jeff was the recipient of six Management Excellence Awards, three Marketing Excellence Awards, and two Facility Service Excellence Awards.
Prior to his entry into the real estate business, Jeff was a division sales manager for Avon Products. Jeff started his professional career as an officer in the United States Army where he served in various capacities including that of a Company Commander as well as Aide-de-Camp to a General Officer.
