John began working with CBRE in November of 2009 on the BB&T account before transferring to his current role on the Global High Technology Company’s account as a Roving Engineer responsible for facilities of a very key Department of Defense contract. John’s responsibilities include executing and supervising all planned and corrective maintenance at several Client’s server farms throughout Indiana and Illinois on systems ranging from emergency power back ups, fire and safety, and security.
John is responsible for having all routine and corrective work completed in a timely fashion and ensuring that the work at his sites is completed in accordance with strict Client guidelines. In addition, John is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations and maintaining documentation with respect to that compliance. In only a short time in his current position, John has established himself as a very solid performer who has impressed CBRE’s clients with his technical knowledge and his excellent customer service.
Prior to his experience with CBRE, John spent over 20 years working in various HVAC and construction positions where he gained experience with HVAC installation and repair, an intimate knowledge of building construction and developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Before beginning his career in the private sector, John served in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate where he was an expert in fresh water distillation, diesel equipment, turbines, and pumps as well as complex integrated plant operations.
