Professional Experience
Jonathan Walters is a Project Manager for CBRE in San Jose. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the coordination of all project consultants, contractors, and vendors to produce a high level of service from pre-construction to construction on behalf of his clients.
With more than 14 years of experience in the Construction Management industry, Mr. Walters has managed over 280 projects including both owner and tenant representation. His areas of expertise include tenant improvements, capital improvements, and life science projects.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Walters represented tenants and owners on construction projects at LCM Construction Management. Preceding his work at LCM, Mr. Walters was a Project Manager at a Bay Area general contracting firm.

- Celgene, San Francisco, CA - 55,000 SF phased lab and office project. Scope included pre-action fire systems, high-density file room, vivarium suite, general labs, microscope and dark rooms, vide conference equipped boardroom and multipurpose rooms.
- The Irvine Company, San Jose, Sunnyvale and Milpitas, CA -1MSF of ongoing Tenant Improvements and Capital Improvement projects. TI’s including landlord constructed build-to-suit projects for office, lab and cleanroom tenants. Capital Improvement projects including speculative build-outs, common area upgrades and site work.
- DJM Capital Partners, 5200 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA -233,000 SF new showpiece lobby extension, window replacement and global site improvements.
- Pharmion Inc., San Francisco, CA -14,000 SF build-to-suit biotech lab and office project. Included isotope lab, darkroom and document storage with pre-action fire suppression system.
