Joseph Gay joined the CBRE Project Management Team in 2014 and has over 11 years of experience in the DC/Maryland/Virginia and Miami, FL market. Acting as an owner representative, his experience includes preconstruction planning (scoping, budgeting and scheduling), contracting and procurement (design, consultants and contractors), implementation (design, construction and closeout). He is also experienced in managing project teams (client, design, consultant, and contractor staff), budgets, schedules, vendor invoicing, project reporting, meetings, conflict resolution, and quality control.
Prior to work at CBRE, Mr. Gay was the building owner representative managing a government tenant build-out in Class A office space in Washington, DC for Kramer Consulting, PC. The project included the construction of 11 tenant floors occupying 650,000 square feet. Mr. Gay also served on the project team which managed construction of the building management-operated auditorium, conference center, fitness center, café and kitchen.
Mr. Gay also served as a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. located in Washington, DC during which time he worked on the following clients:

Preceding his work at Jones Lang LaSalle Mr. Gay worked for the South Florida Workforce as Facilities Manager for three years. There, he was responsible for the construction and operation of 22 Workforce Development Centers located throughout Miami-Dade County.
